JAMES MICHAEL TEWS, age 20, of Irving, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Irving. Born September 29, 1995 in Fort Stewart, he moved to Irving in 2003. He was a 2014 graduate of MacArthur High School where he was active in the choir, band, Mariachi band, and theater. He attended North Lake College where he participated in the musical program there. Survivors include his parents Diane Tews and Dennis Ortiz of Irving; his father Kenneth James Tews; paternal grandmother Doris Tews; maternal grandparents Janice and Gordon Hebb; aunts and uncles, Sharon and Kelly Moore and Allan and Denise Hebb. The family received friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 25th in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
