Caroline Zeiszler, 96, Garrison, was called home on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Garrison Hospital.

Caroline was born April 10, 1920 to John and Elizabeth (Denke) Bieber in Zap, ND where she was raised and educated. Following school she moved to Montana to work in the fields and as a maid in motels. On the weekends she loved to attend dances, which is where she met Leo Zeiszler, whom she fell in love with and married in September of 1937. They worked in Montana and later moved to Pick City, ND. In the 1950’s they moved to Garrison where Caroline worked in the kitchen of the Garrison Hospital.

Caroline enjoyed gardening, embroidery, and quilting. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Garrison. Her greatest love was taking care of her husband and seven children. Her family including many grandchildren will miss her dearly.

Caroline is survived by six children, Clarence (Bonnie) Zeiszler, Sparks, NV, Marlene (Raymond) Herman, Bemidji, MN, Loren (Ardythe) Zeiszler, Pick City, ND, Gerald (Alice) Mazomanie, WI, Donald (Ardella) Zeiszler, Anthem, AZ, and Kenneth Zeiszler, New Hope, MN; 24 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leo, one son, Lee Roy, brothers, Ed and Art Bieber, sisters, Elma Bitterman and Frieda Conradson, half brothers, John, Fred, Dave, and Chris Bieber, and Chris and Alvin Entzel, half sisters, Marry, Kasper, Eugenia Meissel and Erna Guse, one grandson, and three great grandson.
