Alma worked at Peoples State Bank in Wauseon, Ohio and 30 years at Tenneco in Napoleon, Ohio. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon where she was active in the Mission Society. She also belonged to the Napoleon Legion and VFW Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family, children and great grandchildren. Because of her love for quilting, she tried to make quilts for all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Mike) Dietrich of Napoleon, Ohio, Jim (Annabelle) Dachenhaus of Ripon, California, and John Dachenhaus of Leesville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Mike (Shawna) Rohrs, Renee (Ryan) Bostelman, Emily (Jeremy) Sheets, Alexandrea (Stephen) Kneece, Chaz (Morgan) Dachenhaus, and Jonathan Dachenhaus; great grandchildren, Kelsea Rohrs, Madison, Bryce and Brooklyn Bostelman, Tennley, and Tatum Stollings, and Garrett Sheets; sister, Lucille Meyer of Napoleon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Rice; and brother, Louis Von Seggern.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon. Interment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, and one hour prior to the services at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon.
