Norman Nelsen Jr., a.k.a. "Buzzy," passed away in his home at the age of 64, surrounded by family, on May 28, 2016.

Buzzy worked for Jamestown Macadam for 20 plus years and also served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman, dedicated family man and amazing friend to many. He was also a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luella and Norman Nelsen Sr.; a brother, Timmy, and a daughter, Teresa Jo. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Tonya Nelsen; four children: Tammy, Jamie, Lindsay and Cody; and many grandchildren and great-grand children. He is also survived by two brothers, Paul and Chip, and a sister, Becky.

As his last gift to the world, Buzzy donated his body to science at the University of Buffalo in hopes of saving lives with the loss of his own. A memorial will be held Saturday, June 4, from 2-4 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 858 Fairmount Ave., Jamestown, N.Y. (behind Verizon Wireless). All friends and family are welcome.
