He was born on September 13, 1942 in Hempstead, NY; the son of Joseph and Ann Williams Jehle.
Prior to graduating from high school he enlisted in the US Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War, during his enlistment he obtained his GED. Clyde received an associate’s degree in nursing from Maria College
He was employed at various companies as a project manager for construction, one notable project his worked on was the EGG in Albany. Following his time as a project manager he worked as a nurse in various nursing homes as well as home healthcare.
He enjoyed being out with friends and socializing.
Clyde leaves his former wife Alice B. Jehle, children Kathleen Jehle of Miller Place, NY, William Jehle of Scotia, NY, James Jehle of Niskayuna, NY, Patricia Jehle of Dalton, MA, Christine Jehle of Albany, NY, grandchildren Krystine, Elijah, Emily, Delia, Jenna, Lauren and Brandon.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, June 6 at 10am at St. Agnes Church in Dalton with Rev. Christopher Malatesta, officiating. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Donations in his memory may be made to Disable American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. The Bartlett WellingtonFuneral Home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226 is in charge of arrangements.
