Peter E. Kops, 72, 1456 South Eighteenth street, local painting contractor, died suddenly Thursday morning fro a heart attack suffered at the residence. A Callahan ambulance took Kops to St. Anthony Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Mr. Kops is survived by the wife, Cleone, and one son, Max Kops, at home. He was a member of Terre Haute Painters Local No. 197.
The body was taken to the Gillis Memory Chapel where friends may call after 10 o'clock Friday morning. Funeral services will be held there at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Hilton Whitaker will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
