Mrs. Anna DeWald
NAMPA — Mrs. Anna DeWald, 84, 512 Eighth Ave. S., died at a Nampa hospital Friday night.
She was born June 29, 1882, Mrs. DeWald has been a long-time resident of Nampa, having lived here since 1922, coming from Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John DeWald, in 1961.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include 7 daughters, Mrs. Agnes Angleton, Riggins, Mrs. Elsie Bonar, Seal Beach, Calif., Mrs. Irene Bowen, Boise, Mrs. Lila Stookey, Selfridge Air Force Base, Mich., and Mrs. Millie Assenlin, Mrs. Edith Taylor, and Miss Freda DeWald, all of Nampa; three sons, Ed DeWald, Nampa, Harold DeWald, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Jack DeWald, Emmett; 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Bertha Priest, preceded her in death in 1952.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Richard E. Gross officiating. Interment will be at Cloverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Shepherd Mortuary until 1 p.m. Monday.
The family has requested that contributions be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, or flowers may be sent.
