Justin David Abel, 15, died Monday afternoon, Nov. 20, 2000, in an automobile accident on Coe Road.
He was born Nov. 24, 1984, at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., to James and Shannon (Eckard) Abel, who survive .
Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, James and Mary Eckard of Toronto, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Abel of Oreana, Ill. and Marshall and Nancy Conway of Decatur, Ill.; and a sibling, Stephanie Abel, at home.
Justin, a sophomore at Seneca East High School, was active in wrestling, track, band, concert choir and show choir. A resident of the Tiffin area for the past 13 years, he was a member of the First Christian Church in Tiffin.
