Mary Bee "Bernie" Rogers, 92, of Louisville, died Monday at her residence.
She was the former Bernadette Hoffmann, a poet and freelance writer, co-founder of the Louisville Writer's Club, a member of the Kentucky State Poetry Society and a former member of the Arts Club of Louisville.
She is survived by four children and eight grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Westport Rd. and Herr Ln. Memorial gifts may go to Mass of the Air.
