BLESSING Carol Anne, age 59, died on March 24, 2008 from ovarian cancer. She leaves a husband, Bill Blessing and a son, David Blessing, both of Hamilton County; a daughter, Wren Blessing and her husband John Hanto of Efland, NC; and a sister, Barbara Saunders Smith of Suffolk, VA. Carol Anne was born and raised in Smithfield, VA and received her under graduate degree from the College of William and Mary. She received a graduate degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; she also did graduate work at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. Before moving to Cincinnati, Carol Anne did missionary work for the Baptist Home Mission Board in Atlanta, GA. She was a special education teacher with the Indian Hill School District and Springer School. Her final work for over a decade was as a teacher with Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. Friends may call at the Montgomery Community Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Covenant-First Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 6 PM.
