On May 12, 1941, she was united in marriage to Orville LeRoy Fitzerald in Trenton, MO. Evelyn was employed as a seamstress for Snowdons Manufacturing in Osceola for 15 years. She then worked for the Truro grocery store before retiring. She was a member of the Truro Congregational United Church of Christ, Jolly Fu Club and Red Hat Club. She had resided in Malvern for 8 years.
