Mary Ella Duncan age 89 of Donelson, went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2011. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 59 years, Allen B. Duncan, daughter, Linda Hurt, son-in-law, William "Buddy" Hurt and 8 siblings. Ms. Duncan is survived by her one daughter and her husband two sisters, Norma and Jean, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a special niece Martha.
Ms. Duncan was a member of First Baptist Church of Donelson for 60 years. She served faithfully in the bus ministry and the baby nursery.
The Funeral service will be today at 2:30 p.m., in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall,
