DeLaine Lee Summers was born on October 13, 1940 to Inez (O’Hara) and Harry Summers in Carrington, North Dakota. She had four sisters, Fay, Marie, Lois, Ila and one brother, John.
DeLaine graduated from Carrington High School in 1958 and later moved to Fargo where she was employed by First National Bank. DeLaine was united in marriage with Richard Kuebler on April 1, 1961. She became a full time homemaker. DeLaine and Richard were blessed with four children; Mark, David, James and Sandra.
DeLaine did volunteer work at the old Carl Ben Eielson School and when the children left home to start their own families, DeLaine went to work at Nativity Church as a bookkeeper until her retirement in 2004.
DeLaine is survived by her husband Richard, and sons David and James; David’s wife Deborah and their daughter Kathryn, Mark’s sons, Alexander and Christopher, and many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by son Mark, daughter Sandra, and her sisters and brother.
DeLaine believed in salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful, caring person with a smile for all who touched her life.
