From News-Journal, July 2 1914 - Mr. and Mrs. Emery Sombaty were visited by the stork Thursday, June 25, which left an eight-pound boy. Emery says he is very well satisfied having two boys and two girls on his dry farm.

From News-Journal, April 1, 1915 - Mr. and Mrs. Emery Sombaty went to Newcastle Saturday to take their nine months' old baby to the doctor. The little one has been sick the past three months and under the doctor's care. On their return trip Sunday the little one died when about halfway home. The remains were laid to rest in Boyd Cemetery Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Sombaty have the sympathy of their many friends.
