PARENTS: Gerald Michael Voss Jr. and Linda D Orendoff

Penny Anne was born in Omak, Washington on March 6, 1974. She was taken home from the hospital to live a short time on her grandfather Sidney Orendoff's sheep ranch at nearby Riverside, Washington. She was the pride and joy of her mother and grandparents weighing only 4 lbs and 3 oz at birth. A beautiful, sensitive and sweet daughter, the oldest of her brother and sister.

When Penny was 3 years old, her mother remarried and Penny was adopted by her step-father, Gerald 'Jerry' M. Voss. Every other weekend, Penny looked forward to the company of three additional siblings that came with blended family visitations.

Penny was wonderfully talented in her piano playing. In third grade, she discovered she loved the piano; a talent where she 'came alive'! She would spend hours daily practicing after school until she graduated from high school. People would come to her piano recitals just to hear her play; one professional who came stated she was following Penny's progress because Penny had the natural makings of a concert pianist. In her junior year in high school, Penny won a close second place in a Northwest Regional Talent Program who gave scholorships.

Penny also enjoyed being active in her church, the Othello Assembly of God. Penny was loved by everyone who knew her.
