Doris A. Rohr, 75, of Easton, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Easton Hospital. Born December 15, 1940 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Annabelle Meckes Gangwer. She and her husband, Walter D. Rohr, would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on August 17, 2016.

Doris was last employed by Prudential Financial. Prior to that, she worked for Merrill Lynch. Years ago, she taught second grade in Emmaus. She was a 1958 graduate of Easton High School and a 1962 graduate of Muhlenberg College where she majored in psychology and minored in education. Doris loved reading and the beach and enjoyed attending yoga weekly.

Surviving in addition to her husband Walter are three daughters, Lisa A. Fadden, of Holliston, MA, Patti A. Murphy and her husband Tom, of Ramsey, NJ, and Diane M. Cotter and her husband Michael, of Hurley, NY; a son, David A. Rohr and his wife Leslie, of Eastchester, NY; and ten grandchildren, Joanna, Isaac, Carolyn and Sean Fadden, Kevin Murphy, Brian and Dylan Cotter, Annabelle, Matthew and Harry Rohr.

Services will be held at 11am Saturday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick St., Easton. Call Saturday 10-11am in the funeral home. Burial will be in South Easton Cemetery.
