Obituary: CHARLES H. HANKINS - Chuck passed away Friday, April 16, 2010, in Bryan, TX after a long illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Wanda Hankins; siblings, Robert Hankins, Bud Hankins, and Betty Tarsia. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hankins, and his children, Penny (Burton) Sperling, Greene, NY, Randy (Kathy) Hankins, Brackney, PA, Rusty (Lisa) Hankins, Bryan, TX, Shari (Jim) Knapp, Binghamton, NY; sister, Marge (Donald) Hess, Auburn, NY; and sister-in-law, Mary Hankins, Phoenix, AZ; also nine grandchildren, Michael Tasber, Scott Tasber, Randy Brunick, Nicole Kindel, Shawna Hankins, Trent Hankins, Zachery Hankins, Teira Lehr and Timothy Knapp; three great grandchildren, George Tasber, Brianna Tasber and Skylar Kindel; several nieces and nephews. Chuck was retired from A&P food market as a meat manager. Chuck and Nancy lived between Conklin and Florida. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly by all.
