Sharon "Sheri", 55, of Cedar Rapids,Ia was born in Cedar Rapids to Robert E. and Patricia F(Doyle)Bretz. She graduated from North Linn HS in 1969 and Mercy Radiologic Tech School in 1971. She worked at Hall Radiation Center in Mercy Med Center for over 20 years as a radiation therapist and later as Dosimetrist, retiring in 1994. . Sheri struggled with multiple sclerosis for 14 years. Everyone was inspired by her strength and courage. Sheri is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jon M McCright of Cedar Rapids, daughter Megan A McCright of San Francisco, Ca, son Ian P McCright of St Augustine,Fl, her mother Patricia F Bretz of Coggon, sister Connie L Labarge of Marion, six brothers, David H(Katie)Bretz of West Des Moines, Richard T(Fran)Bretz of Amarillo, Tx, Lyle R(Merri)Bretz of Ames, Lynn P(Mary Anne)Bretz of Visalia,Ca, Marc A Bretz of Solon and Michael J(Lisa)Bretz of North Liberty and many nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Philip J Bretz. Services were held at St Patricks Catholic Church in Monti,Ia.
