Patricia A. (Carter) Tombs, 62, of 19 Dickinson St., died Tuesday at home. She was a three-year employee of New England Telephone Co. Born here, she graduated from Greenfield High School in 1955. She leaves her husband, Edward N. Tombs; three daughters, Carolyn McDonald of Springfield, Sandra Wrona of East Longmeadow and Debra Simonds of Ludlow; three sisters, Janice Dunbar and Margaret Vassar, both of Greenfield, and Judith Putnam of East Sullivan, N.H.; a brother, Edward Carter of Greenfield; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are late this afternoon through the early evening at McCarthy Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Mount Royal Ave., Marlboro, MA 01752.
