Viola Jane Feith, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:37 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, at her home. She was born January 16, 1941, in Ringgold County, Iowa, the daughter of the late Frances Lee and Florence Viola (Lundquist) Sickels.
Jane was a 1959 graduate of Corning High School in Corning, Iowa, and worked for Tysons. Her hobbies included working in her garden, cooking and sewing. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon.
On June 18, 1961, she married Lewis Michael Feith in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2009.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Wallen and her husband, Jim, of Viburnum, Missouri; two sons, Lance Feith and his wife, Sandi, of Stotts City, Missouri and Harold Feith and his wife, Kathy, of Peculiar, Missouri; sister-in-law, Carol Sickels of Stotts City; six grandchildren, Autumn, Lindsey, Zachary, Junior, Matthew, and Kelsey.
Her sister, Janice Daniel and her husband, Larry, and brother, Jerry Sickels, also preceded her in death.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Moore Cemetery, west of Stotts City.
