Educated at Vassar College (in 1910) and the New England Conservatory of Music.
Taught 2 years at Owensboro, where she will make her home.

Her father was at one time the President of the Kiskiminetas Springs School (The Kiski School, formally the Kiskiminetas Springs School after the Kiskiminetas River, is a private, all-male boarding school located in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh) and a member of the legislature. Her mother is a member of the Means family prominent throughout the Cumberland Valley.

The bridegroom, who is a son of Mr and Mrs w O Horner of Cleveland, TN, attended the South Bend College of Optometry, taking a graduate course in Atlanta and practices his profession in Owensboro.

Engagement Announced - Former Assemblyman and Mrs R W Fair of Melrose, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Helen McClelland Fair to William Henry Horner of Cleveland, TN. The announcement was made Tuesday at a deciidely appointed luncheon given at "Melrose" in honor of Miss Helen Faye Fair, of Topeka, KS and Miss Ruth Lucas of Charlottsville, VA. Covers were laid for fourteen at a table decorated with mistletoe and bovidin, carrying out a delicate pink tone. Corsage bouquets in pink and white were used as individual favors.

Miss Helen Fair, whose engagement was announced is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music and is a gifted pianist. For the past two years, she has been engaged in teaching and concert work.

Mr Horner has been engaged in business in Owensburg, KY for the past few years.

The engagement will terminate in a June Wedding.
