DOROTHY THERESA MICKLER Dorothy Theresa Mickler of Lake Worth, FL, left this earth peacefully on January 24, at the age of 81 after a long and gracious battle with Alzheimers Disease. She was born August 16, 1929 in Washington, DC, and resided in Florida since 1974. She was a switchboard operator during World War II. She is survived by husband, Charles Mickler of Lake Worth, FL; daughters, Linda Goode of Lothian, MD, Karen Garant of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jackie Jessup of West Palm Beach, FL, Bridget Kynard of Hueytown, AL, and son, James Jarboe II of St. Augustine, FL. Survivors include 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and sisters, Katherine Norcio of Damascus, MD, Betty Lansdown of Stevensville, MD, and Barbara LoBianco of Arlington, VA. She will be deeply missed. The family will hold a private celebration of life in her honor at Del Lago Chapel, Lake Worth, FL on January 26. Burial will follow at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, in Brentwood, MD. Thanks to Hospice of Palm Beach County of Atlantis, FL, who cared for her in her final days.
