Michael Roppel, 88, died Dec. 1 in his Park Ridge home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Joy (Alex) Perri and Cynthia (David) Fox; grandchildren, William and Gina Perri, David, Brian and Michelle Fox; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Chelsea Perri; and sisters, Pauline Jost and Mary Hanrath.
He was preceded in death by son, Michael Jr.
Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today in Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 in St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S. Washington St., Park Ridge. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
