Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Jean C. Krogh age 80 of St. Cloud, who died on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. The Reverend Gregory Lieser will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, MN, and on Thursday, July 20 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. St. Peter's Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening at Daniel Funeral Home.
Jean was born on August 27, 1925 in St. Cloud, MN the daughter of Leo and Catherine (Jaeger) Lenzen. She married Clarence T. Krogh on August 5, 1951 in Sauk Rapids, MN. Four children were born to this union. She lived all her married life in St. Cloud, working as a switch-board operator at St. Cloud Hospital for many years retiring in 1991. St. Cloud has continued to be her home since her husband died on January 16, 1992.
She is survived by: her four children, Nina Nierengarten (Bill Caddy) of Crosby, MN, Patricia (Bruce) Schumacher of Lake City, MN, Frederick (Lucy) Krogh of Fairbault, MN, and Nancy (Roger) Reinert of Sartell, MN, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Florence Berg of Minneapolis, MN.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, one brother Leonard, and six sisters, Frances Waggoner, Leona Roering, Helen Schuler, Ursala Schuler, Lucille Peterson, and Delores Pickartz.
