JENNIFER LYNN VIETOR MILTON — Jennifer Lynn Vietor, 34, of Milton died Saturday morning, Aug. 19, 2006, with grace and dignity with her loving family by her side in the Vermont Respite House in Williston following a brief and courageous battle with liver cancer.

Jenny was born Oct. 30, 1971, in Burlington, the daughter of Walter Jr. and Juanita Gauthier Ruhl. She graduated from Milton High School with the Class of 1989. She attended Champlain College and finished her degree at Trinity College, graduating in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She most recently had been employed as a Title 1 teacher for the Colchester School District. On May 21, 1993, she married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Vietor, in Ascension Church in Georgia. Together they made their home in Milton on Smith Road where she enjoyed spending her spare time with her family, reading, baking and doing crafts. She also loved the outdoors, enjoying her flowers and going camping.

To our beloved Jen, You have touched each heart of all who have come into your life. You have inspired us all. You are a most precious gift from God. You have been a complete joy to be with. In the last two months, you have taught us so much about humility, simplicity, and where our priorities should be. I have seen the Lord through your eyes. This has been the most profound experience of blessing I have ever witnessed. "God is alive." We are so proud to call you our daughter. You are an amazing young woman. Jen, rejoice in knowing that we will always trust in the Lord to know what is good for us. We will continue to offer all to the Lord. We will not be afraid of death, for you have led the way to Heaven. We have already made our reservation to be with you — leave the gates open. You have given us enough love to last a lifetime. Thank you. Dear Lord, place your hands on all of us and bring us healing and peace. Eternal Love, Mom and Dad P.S. We will mother Ken, Griffin and Cullen as you would have. Worry about nothing, pray about everything.

Jenny is survived by her loving husband, Ken and their two sons, Griffin and Cullen of Milton; her parents, Walter Jr. and Juanita Ruhl of Swanton; her sister Julie Martell and husband Martin and their son, Dallas of Colchester; as well as other close family members, Gary and Linda Vietor of Durand, Mich., Roger Racine of Georgia, Jeff, Cheyne and Shelby Racine also of Georgia; her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as her very close friends, Deb Deen, Theresa Natale and Kelly Gruver.

Jenny wants it to be said on her behalf that she wants to thank everyone for being a blessing in her life and wants everyone to know that she loves them dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton. Burial will follow in the Milton Village Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to either the Autism Society of America, 7910 Woodmont Ave., Suite 300, Bethesda, Md. 20814-3067; or to the American Cancer Society, 121 Connor Way, P.O.
