DENHOF (Conklin) - Norbert Peter Denhof, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. Norbert was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, was on the Chester Township Board, a member of the Chester Township Fire Department, and was on the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Parish Council. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agatha; his son-in-law, James Chatterson. He is survived by his children, Patricia Chatterson, Mary and Richard Engle, Norbert J. and Susan Denhof, Jon and Nancy Denhof, Steven and Donna Denhof, Mark and Lisa Denhof; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; in-laws, Irene Patelle of TN, S.J. "Bets" and Jeanette Linck of Ravenna, John and Phyllis Linck of Petosky, Tom and Patricia Linck of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 31, 12:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Conklin with Fr. Fred Brucker Celebrant. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Denhof will lie in state on Saturday at the Church from 11:30 until the start of the Mass.
