Isidro Humberto Gutiérrez, 83, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016.
Isidro was born May 15, 1933 in Monterrey, México to Gonzalo and Antonio Gutiérrez Gonzales.
Isidro was passionate about his family. When his father passed away, Isidro stepped up and helped raise his brothers and sisters. Isidro was the protector of his family. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing the guitar. He enjoyed going to the casinos, being outdoors and loved Chinese food. Isidro was a collector of many things and had an outgoing personality. He didn't like conflict and was the peace maker of the family.
Isidro was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Elena Gutierrez; brother, Gonzalo Gutierrez, and sister, Alicia Davila.
He is survived by his children, James Gutiérrez and wife Karla, Henry Gutierrez and wife Carol, Maria Varela and husband Jesse, Maria I. Flores and husband Gregorio; brothers, Antonio Gutiérrez and wife Aurora, Oscar Gutiérrez and wife Trinidad; sisters, Maria Gutiérrez, Estella Ortiz, Carolina Gonzalez and husband Jesus, Hermilla Mendez and husband Juan. Mr. Gutiérrez also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, a host of family and friends to cherish his memories.
