He was 61. Mr. Hetzer was born in New York City on October 22, 1906. He was employed as a switchman by the New York Telephone Company, was a member of the New York Telephone Pioneers, the Holy Name Society of St. John's Church, and a member of the Church. Mr. Hetzer resided in Mahopac for 13 years. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Norton; three children, Robert Hetzer of Holbrook, Long Island, Mrs.Maureen MacNamara of Mahopac and Walter C. Hetzer of Goldens Bridge; one sister, Mae Saunders of Lakeside Road, Mahopac; and 12 grandchildren. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Somers.
