Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette Vetter, 53, of Devils Lake was held Mon. at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died March 24, 1997 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake.
Fr. Leo C. Kinney & Deacon Eugene Fish were celebrants. Helen Arnold was organist & the church choir provided special music. Pallbearers were Robert, Michael & David Vetter, Gerald Jaeger, Lynn Arnold & Reuben Brown. Te Nelson Funeral Home of Esmond was in charge of arrangements.
Jeanette Ann Vetter was born June 11, 1943 in Harvey to Edward & Caroline Willy. She attended grade school at Rich Valley & graduated from Esmond High School. She also attended Minot State Teachers College. She then moved back to Esmond & later to Devils Lake, where she worked at Kmart & later at the Dr. Richard Johnson Dental Clinic. She was once married to Daniel Vetter.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church & its Christian Mothers in Esmond; was a member of bowling leagues & a singles club in Devils Lake; & attended services & Bible studies at the Tokio Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Robert & Tanya Vetter of West Fargo, Michael & Melissa Vetter of Moorhead, Minn. & David Vetter of Esmond; 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Aime & Lee Ellingson of Spanaway, Wash., Lisa & Bryan Wetch of St. Charles, Mo. & Rachel Vetter of Esmond; 8 grandchildren; her mother of Harvey; 3 sisters, Ardys Jaeger of Esmond, Elaine (Mrs. Dale) White of Moorhead, Minn. & Eileen Weigel of Tacoma, Wash.; & a brother & sister-in-law, Marvin & Diane Willy of Minneapolis, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her father & an infant sister, Mary.
