GUS A. EWALD OF ARCOLA DIES
Arcola, Ill. — Gus A. Ewald, a life-long resident of this city, died at his home Monday following an illness of several weeks. Death was due to a heart ailment and complications. Mr. Ewald was 75 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Shrader funeral home here, with Rev. C. K. Dillman officiating. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery.
Mr. Ewald was born Oct. 23, 1868, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Ewald. He married Miss Louise Schwanz on Nov. 9, 1904. He was a grocer for many years.
Surviving are his wife; a brother, George, of Champaign; a sister, Miss Minnie of Arcola, and a half-brother, William Bruenle, also of this city.
