She was born March 8, 1935 in Waterloo, daughter of Fred C. and Gladys Buhmeyer Schiel.
She married Darrell D. Kleve on June 1, 1957 in Waterloo. He died May 19, 2013.
Annette graduated from St. Mary's School and was a homemaker.
She is survived by: two sons, Christopher (Janet) of Chicago, Ill. and Thomas (Andrea) of Wheaton, Ill.; three daughters, Catherine Wood of Chandler, Ariz., Theresa (David) Testin of Columbus, Ga., and Margaret (Michael) Brown of Bartlett, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, Sam Wood, Riley, Genevieve and Josephine Kleve, Nick, Lucas and Kyle Testin, Mariah, Matthew and Mikayla Brown, Katie and Jack Kleve; a sister, Marian (David Biering) Clements of Rainier, Washington.
Preceded in death by: her husband; a daughter, Diana Kleve.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 26 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church under the auspices of Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Friday.
