Services for Michael Paul Ahrens, 49, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church in Eudora. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
Mr. Ahrens died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at his home.
He was born Feb. 17, 1956, in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of Paul R. and Juanita Anderson Ahrens. He graduated from United Electronics Institute in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Ahrens worked as an electronics technician for Diebold Inc. for 25 years and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
He married Julie Brubeck on May 5, 1979, in Lawrence. They divorced.
Survivors include his parents, Grinnell, Iowa; a son, Justin M., Lawrence; a daughter, Andrea Ahrens, Manhattan; and a sister, Barbara Bunkers, Spokane, Wash.
