He was born in Fostori, Ohio, and had been a winter resident of Lake Como for more than 10 years. He moved to Lake Como from Findlay, Ohio. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Crescent City Moose Lodge 1641 and a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Amvets Post in Ohio.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Molter Salazar of Findlay; two brothers, Henry Molter of Baltimore and George Molter of Sandusky, Ohio; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home in Crescent City with Rev. John W. Blow officiating. There will also be services by Crescent City Moose Lodge 1641 and a flag presentation by American Legion Post 45. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 15 Feb 1994.)
