Reuben Alles, 97, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was born on April 29, 1919, in Lincoln, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Link) Alles.

Reuben was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired Goodyear employee. He was an avid golfer, tennis player, and snappy dresser who loved to dance. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandparent.

Survived by: wife, Darlene; son and daughter-in-law, Doug (Brenda) Alles; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia (Steve) Frederick; step-son and daughter-in-law, Randy (Tonya) Schleiger; grandchildren, Mark (Sauni) Frederick, Jamie (Ramon) Cabrera, Aaron (Angie) Frederick, Christine (Tom) Schulte; nine step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Wilma Jillson.

Preceded in death by: wife, Geraldine Alles; brothers, Ted, Jack, Dan and sister, Lydia; stepsons, Mike and Steve Schleiger.

Services on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
