Born Jan. 16, 1890, in the Town of Eldorado, she was a daughter of William and Emma Frederick Averbeck. Mrs. Abbs was a teacher and later went into practical nursing at Southern Colony in Union Grove.
Survivors include two sons, Victor of North Fond du Lac, and Everett of Waupaca; four grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Laura, Shank of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Esther Magdefrau of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at n a.m. Monday at Candlish Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Bruce M. Buslaff officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Visitation is from 10 to- 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
