Minnie Emilie Kreft was born on May 12th, 1897, the daughter of Ludwig Ferdinand Albert Kreft and Wilhelmina Wandersee Kreft. She married Edwin Muetzel on October 21, 1919, and were the parents of Arnold, Bernice, Martin "Bud", Ruth and Dorothy. She died on January 25th, 1965 and is buried at Ripley Cemetery in Lichfield, MN with her husband and son Arnold. Two of her younger sisters, Meta and Bertha, married cousins of Edwin Muetzel, Herman F Muetzel and Eric Adolph Muetzel.
