Together they had a daughter Elizabeth Gwen Prauss. Her second husband was Carl Moritz Brock. They were married 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her next husband was Johnny Weissmuller. They married in 1963. Weissmuller then adopted Elizabeth Gwen Prauss. Gertrude stayed married with Weissmuller to his death and is buried in his grave. She was survived by her daughter Lisa Weissmuller, grandchildren Lisa and Richard, and great grand children.
