Services for Mrs. Joanna Smith, 84, a Christian Witness of Jehovah in this community for 35 years, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 907 Culverhouse with Edward Mulholland officiating.
Mrs. Smith, who lived at 404 Fargo and for the past 5 years in Pine Haven Nursing Home, died Monday in a Lufkin hospital.
Born Oct. 28, 1887, Mrs. Smith has been a resident of Lufkin for 52 years. She was a member of the Central Unit Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
