Mrs. ALICE McKINSEY, 640 North Locust Street, died yesterday afternoon at the Washington County Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in a fall at her home on Saturday.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Waynesboro, Pa.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Allia Mae Brown, this city; Mrs. Dorothy S. Trumpower, this city; Mrs. Alverta B. Bergers, New Philadelphia, Ohio; brothers, J.D. Wolfinger, this city; Vernon Wolfinger, Waynesboro, Pa.; Mrs. Elva Barr, Baltimore.

Funeral services were private from the Kraiss Mortuary Chapel; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.

DOROTHY SUSAN TRUMPOWER, 95, of 16505 Virginia Ave., and formerly of Halfway, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Homewood Retirement Center. Born Jan. 28, 1906, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles U. and Alice E. Wolfinger McKinsey. Her husband, Garnett W. Trumpower, died in 1968.

She retired from Fairchild Aircraft Manufacturer in Hagerstown; and had been employed by Hagerstown Leather Co. She was a member of First Christian Church in Hagerstown. She was past president of Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway Auxiliary, Halfway Senior Citizens and Democratic Women's Organization; and a member of VFW Auxiliary to W.D. Byron Post 1936 in Hagerstown, and Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion Auxiliary in Hagerstown.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Mae Trumpower.

Graveside services were held at Riverview Cemetery in Williamsport.
