Friends may call from 4:00- 8:00 PM on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 9:00 AM at the church on Saturday. The Knights of Columbus Council 961 will pray at 6:00 PM and St. Anthony's parish prayers will be at 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Hilbert was born on February 15, 1927, in Clearwater, MN to John and Viola (Garrison) Kramer. He married Agnes Pfannenstein on July 17, 1948 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Hilbert was a diesel mechanic for Reserve Mining in Babbitt; he retired in 1977. Hilbert served as the Constable and Justice of the Peace for Waasa Township. He was an avid sportsman, and a man of strong faith and family values.
Hilbert is survived by: his wife Agnes; children John (Julie) of Babbitt, Steve of Forest Grove, OR, Paula Kramer of Gilbert, Brenda (Jeff) Deters of Royalton, Patrick (Gina) of St. Augusta; daughter-in-law Janice Kramer of St. Augusta; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Orville Kramer of Clearwater; and sister Sharlet Taulfin of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary, brothers Leland and Phillip and sisters Elsie Dehler and Shirley Murphy.
