Jan. 11, 1959 - Oct. 2, 2016 Terrance "Terry" Mennen, formerly of Birmingham, AL, passed away on October 2, 2016 at the age of 57. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Calvin Mennen and Patricia Ann Cornelius. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Mennen; sons, Brent Mennen and Justin (Trista) Mennen; grandchildren, Pierce and Addison Mennen; four brothers and two sisters. Terry attended the University of Iowa and was an avid Hawkeyes fan. After graduating with a degree in Business, he began a successful career in the commercial vehicle industry that has spanned 30 years. However, his greatest love has been for his family, whether it was travelling the world with them, playing golf, or being a grill master at home. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. To honor his life, there will be a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7th at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, TN with Rev. Justin Raines, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Calvin Mennen and Patricia Ann Cornelius. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Mennen; sons, Brent Mennen and Justin (Trista) Mennen; grandchildren, Pierce and Addison Mennen; four brothers and two sisters.

Terry attended the University of Iowa and was an avid Hawkeyes fan. After graduating with a degree in Business, he began a successful career in the commercial vehicle industry that has spanned 30 years. To honor his life, there will be a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, Tenn., with the Rev. Justin Raines, celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass at the church.
