THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 30, 2004: 'Don Bretz, 72, of Paris died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Private graveside services were held in Lamar County Cemetery under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Lamar County, the son of Ed Walter and Audrey Belle Shires Bretz. He was a store manager for L. O. Hammons here in Paris. Survivors include his wife, Ann, of Paris; son, Wade Bretz of Blossom and step-mother, Audrey Bretz of Honey Grove.'(6/6/1920 - 11/5/2005)
Wade Walter Bretz, 51 of Lamar Point, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2013. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
