One of them died 4 June 1910 of marasmus; he was identified on the burial as "Ewan Cameron". In 1953, the birth registration document for "Ewan Cameron" Dewar was altered to reflect the name "Ian Thornton" Dewar. Ian Thornton Dewar appears on 1911 census and was buried in 1984. No death or burial information has been found to date for Kenneth Burgoyne Dewar, nor did he appear on the 1911 census with the rest of the family
