Ilion - Charles E. Sporer, 84, of RD2, an avid hunter and fisherman, died yesterday in Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD.
He was born in Hartford, Conn.
In 1930 he married Grace M. Roa in Utica, she died in 1974.
He was a veteran of World War I serving in the infantry.
He leaves a daughter Mrs. Robert (Jeanne) Wall, Rockville, MD., four brothers, Frederick, Frankfort, Carroll, Mohawk and Joseph and Bertram both of Ilion.
