PINEHURST --


Edward L. Green, 82, of Pinehurst died Tuesday in his home.


Mr. Green was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.


He was a photographer for the Moore County Arts Council.


He was a member of the Elks.


A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Powell Funeral Home chapel by Monsignor Hendrix.


Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Eileen M. Green; two daughters, Marilou Sanford of Washington, D.C., and Nancy Anderson of Pleasanton, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.


A reception will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dunes Table Restaurant at Midland Country Club.
