She was born Feb. 14, l917, in Park City, the daughter of Edward and Dorothia (Winterholler) Kober. She went to school at Young Point.
She worked on the family farm in Park City; St. Vincent Hospital; the Commercial Club; and Lincoln Jr. High School Cafeteria where she worked for 20 years until retiring in l973.
Ida married Edward Danssaert March 15, l952, and they had 42 years together. He preceded her in death April 5, l994.
Ida loved raising roses, gardening, embroidering, baking and cooking. She especially loved her little pets, and dancing and entertaining during the holidays.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Kober of Three Forks and sisters Marie Schoessler and Theresa Kober of Billings, and Olga Oswalt of Havre; numerous nieces and nephews and a good friend, Phyllis Lawson, who has cared for her for several years.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Smith Downtown Chapel. A luncheon will follow and interment of her cremains will be held at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
