Hermina M. Koenig, 93, of Cochranville, formerly of Allentown, Pa. and Wilmington, Del., passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 in her residence. She was the wife of Stephen Koenig, who passed away in 1981 and with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Keglovitz) Csekitz. She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, West Grove, Pa. and a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital. A seamstress for many years until retiring in 1975, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needlework. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
Survivors: Her son, Robert S. Koenig and his wife, Mary, of Cochranville; two grandsons, Robert and Michael; two great-grandchildren.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007 in Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, 19390.
Interment, 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Mundy Lane and Fullerton Avenue, Allentown.
