Doris Viola (Berry) Lerch, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born on February 4, 1929, in Petrolia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pryor and Effie (Gaiser) Berry and the wife of the late Jack Martin Lerch.

Retired from Jack Rabbit Photography, she was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and the Glendale chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Stephen P. Lerch and his wife Christi of Spartanburg; a brother, Pryor Berry, Jr. of Chicora, PA; and 2 grandsons, Justin S. and Jonathon M. Lerch.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely.

The family received friends 10:15-11:00 AM prior to the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to a charity of ones choice.
