Catharine was listed as the widowed head of household with her children Ernst Otto and Emma at 2817 Clay Street in San Francisco on the 1900 census. She stated she was then the mother of six children, all of whom were then still living.

Her son Dr. Arthur Theodore Regensburger was by then married to Emma Hughes (nee Naunton), who is interred in this cemetery as well.

Catharine died later in the same year that her sister-in-law, Babette Regensburger passed away.

REGENSBURGER--In this city, September 14, Catherine Regensburger, widow of the late Dr. Regensburger, and beloved mother of Dr. Martin Regensburger, Ernest O. Regensburger, Mrs. Thekla Helmrich, Miss Emma Regensburger, Mrs. Edward Geldermann and Dr. Arthur Regensburger, a native of Bavaria, Germany.
