Mrs. Elizabeth McDonald, widow of John McDonald, 147 East Eighth street, died in Oswego Hospital Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock where she had been a patient since Sunday when she was suddenly stricken at her home.

Born in Oswego, a daughter of the late Thomas Walker and Elizabeth Walker Hayes, prominent residents of the East side, she was educated in St. Paul's Academy and was a communicant of St. Paul's Catholic church.
She was active in affairs of the parish while health permitted and was affiliated with the Altar Rosary society and the Social Guild.

Her husband was for many years superintendent of the State Armory in this city.

Surviving are three daughters, Miss Margaret McDonald, member of the faculty of Fitzhugh Park Junior High school; Mrs. Thomas J. (Elizabeth) Parks, Rome, NY , Mrs. Lawrence M. (Grace) Cahill of Saugherties, NY; two sons, John R. McDonald, Fulton and Francis W. McDonald, St. Louis, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Timothy S. Carey, Oswego, twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral at the family home, 147 East Eighth street Thursday morning at 9 o'clock and in St. Paul's church at 9:30.
Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
